My son and I have a difference of opinion on footwear. You be the judge. The color came out poorly, but take my word for it they are bright and vibrant.
I try to be patient with kids and I understand that I did some silly stuff when I was young (and some might argue that I still do), but today's fashions boggle the mind. I guess today, nothing is off limits, nothing is out of style, nothing is out of fashion. Anything goes. Oh well...
Tough call... I'm guilty of the same as I have a thing about a particular kind of Sketchers - so I bought one in dark blue, and one in black.... but then that was buy one, get one half price. I still didn't take the blue ones out of the box. I do think those shoes are different... not my cup of tea, but different none the less.

for his age, sounds like you got off cheap for him wanting $60 shoes. It's obvious the pair on the left are shinier.
but what do i know...my chucks are low-top plaid (pink & khaki colored)
I'm with you Lorri... Clown shoes.
